Ministry to the Sick
At present, we have about 30 home-bound and nursing home parishioners. We take them Communion once a week. At Christmas, we take them a poinsettia and at Easter they get a fruit basket. This is to let them know they are not forgotten and also for them to see a priest at least a couple of times a year.

Provides assistance to the families of deceased parishioners including hospitality arrangements. Contact: Parish Office, 767-6949. Receptions are provided by volunteers for families and friends following a funeral. Volunteer guidelines for receptions provided by our parish community are as follows:
We welcome all parishioners to sign up to provide a dish for the reception and/or volunteer to set up, serve, and/or clean up after.
We would like set up 5 or 6 teams of 20 reception volunteers who would provide an item for the table, a donation toward expenses, or time to serve. This would also require two individuals willing to serve as co-chairmen of each team.
When planning a funeral, let the parish staff know you would like a reception at the church following the funeral. You will receive a call from one of the coordinators to assess your particular needs, explain how everything is handled, and answer any questions you may have.
