Holy Rosary conducts a Parish Spiritual Mission in odd-numbered years (2007, 2009, etc.), generally during Lent. Volunteers are needed to assist the missionaries in visiting the sick, the home-bound, and various grades in the school. Others are needed to do promotion work for the mission and to serve as hospitality workers in the roles of greeters, ushers and to organize and serve at any receptions that might be held. Contact: a member of the Parish Pastoral Council or Fr. Jim Martell.
The Men’s Club offers a weekend retreat each year for all the men of the parish, but space is limited. The Mothers Club conducts a Day of Recollection each year that is open to all women of the parish. Contact: the officers of the organizations.
Other opportunities include SEARCH for students in grades 11 & 12, QUEST for high school students in grades 9 & 10, as well as an annual retreat for middle school students. E-mail Ms. Jessica Cozart for further information .
Days of Recollection are offered to all students enrolled in the Holy Rosary Parish School, beginning in Grade 2. Students enrolled in public schools are welcome to join these retreats at the appropriate grade level. All students preparing for Confirmation and/or First Eucharist are required to participate in the retreats offered prior to the celebration of these sacraments.
